I love my ugly bra! August 6, 2010 Freya Lorelei (Muskegon, Michigan) I recently gained some weight as a side effect of medication, and suddenly had to deal with having a larger bra size (32C, yeah I know, you all WISH you had my problem) and all the discomfort that entails. One thing I've noticed in smaller-ish sizes is that they're all push-up, demi-cup or otherwise very revealing and not terribly supportive, with skimpy straps and underwire that digs in. I just want a bra I'm not totally spilling out of, ya know? I lucked upon this bra for a miraculous $10 at a discount outlet, and now I want five more, regardless of cost. No more loose straps (a HUGE problem for me and my heavily sloping shoulders), side bulge, or things poking out which I'd prefer tucked away. I even kinda like the vintage-looking style...it gives you Jane Russell-esque torpedo-boobs!
Oh, and I noticed a lot of complaints that their normal bra size did not figure (har!) into the Le Mystere bra size...not in my case! It's the same comfy 32C I always wear.
There are more comfortable bras than this August 3, 2010 kalonkakon (Durham, NC United States) I just received this bra today and after only wearing it for about 45 minutes, I can tell you that this is not a very comfortable bra. If you can't tell from the picture, this is the type of bra that holds it shape even when you are not wearing it. I have never really liked these type of bras, but if you have, then this bra might work for you. I will also say that this fit is not that great because the center of the bra is not laying flat across my chest. If you are used to buying a certain size, you might find that your size runs a little small with this bra.
Pro:
This bra is smooth and will not show lines under a t-shirt.
Straps are comfortable (but also very wide so you can't wear a tank top)
Cons:
The underwire is very uncomfortable on the rib cage and near the armpits.
Fit is not great, runs a little small.
Straps are very wide (more comfortable but less versatile)
All in all, I would not buy a bra like this again. If you like the type of bra that holds it shape, then you may like it. I have had much better comfort and fit from this bra: http://www.amazon.com/Elomi-Cleo-Support-Underwire-Black/dp/B001QLJN14/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qlEnable=1&qid=1280871166&sr=1-3
Dream Tisha is amazing! August 3, 2010 eucan2 I have worn this style of bra for years and I LOVE them! Be sure to get fitted. It is so important to get the right fit. Everything looks great with these bras as a foundation. There are no lines and the support is amazing. My breasts are very heavy and before this bra, I could not find anything that was attractive and without lines to give me the support that I wanted and needed. You cannot go wrong with this bra.
Dream Tisha = Excellent Quality July 10, 2010 T. Hensley (Mtn Home, Ar) I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first when ordering this bra, but hey, if it's Oprah's favorite bra it has to be good right? Well... it is excellent! The cups on this bra are molded to give support and shape where we need it as we age, without being "padded" like some are. They used a thin, firm material for the cup lining that I love. I have had some surgery on one breast which resulted in one side being about a whole cup size smaller and with most bras I buy, the side that is too big will wrinkle or cave in on me. With this bra, it holds its shape under form-fitting tops and I don't have that problem at all. It is comfortable, too. I love how the underwires are hidden on the back side of the cups and you never have to pull or tug at them to get it back into shape. I will be ordering another one in ivory soon! With quality this high that produces the look I want, I'd say this bra is well worth every last cent I paid for it!
Like No Other June 15, 2010 Amber Jenae Jackson (Nashville, TN USA) You might understand my all-consuming love for Le Mystere bras if you have ever experienced the terror of rapidly developing from a comfortable and convenient 32C, to far beyond the help of the largest cup size for a 32 band available in a department store- 32DDD. Victoria's Secret left me and my girls to defend for ourselves. Macy's, Dillard's both turned a blind eye to my pain and growing frustration.... but ONE DAY!!! I discovered Le Mystere bras in sizes I never knew were mass produced. The glorious, magnificent 32F Dream Tisha Bra raised me up where I belong, shaped me beautifully, and supported me without complaint. I began my rendezvous with Le Mystere a year ago, and that bra still holds a special place in my heart, and in my underwear drawer. It's been a lasting and wonderful friend. There will never be another like it!
PS... I do recommend trying them on first. I was sure the 32E would be the answer to my problems. Also, the band runs small.
Basically, Le Mystere is a durable, lasting, supportive bra that comes in cup sizes often neglected by the mainstream.
